Privacy Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
ShuffleReady is operated by ShuffleReady LLC, a California limited liability company ("ShuffleReady", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use ShuffleReady, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you sign in
You sign in with your Google account. Google shares with us your email address, your name, your Google username and a unique Google account ID. We use these to create and identify your account. Your Google name is never shown to other people. Others see only the public name you choose, or a generated one like user_123 if you don't choose one.
What you create
We store the decks, formats, rules, card lists and card packages you create, along with your settings (such as which card printings you prefer). Anything you publish, along with your public name, can be seen by anyone.
Cookies and local storage
- A session cookie keeps you signed in. It lasts up to 7 days, and the session it points to is stored on our servers.
- Your browser's local storage holds preferences like the light or dark theme, editor layout and unsaved deck text. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Usage analytics
We use PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the United States, to understand how ShuffleReady is used and to find problems. It records the pages you visit, the features you use, basic device and browser information and your IP address. It also makes session recordings of how you move through the site. Text you type into form fields is masked in those recordings. When you are signed in, this activity is linked to your email address. Analytics requests go through our own domain before reaching PostHog.
How we use information
- To provide ShuffleReady, including your account and your content.
- To keep you signed in and keep the service secure.
- To understand usage, fix bugs and improve features.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't show ads.
Who we share it with
- Google, to sign you in.
- PostHog, for the analytics described above.
- Hosting, database and infrastructure providers that run ShuffleReady for us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ShuffleReady.
- A buyer or successor, if ShuffleReady is ever sold or merged, under terms that protect your information.
Some card links go to TCGPlayer, and some of them are affiliate links. We may earn a commission when you buy through them. Once you leave ShuffleReady, TCGPlayer's own privacy policy applies. The same goes for our Discord server, which is covered by Discord's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account exists. Analytics data is kept for as long as PostHog's retention settings allow. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information, except anything we are legally required to keep.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and disclose;
- delete it, or correct it if it is inaccurate;
- opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither);
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, message us on Discord . We may need to confirm that the account is yours before we act on it.
Children
ShuffleReady is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, such as encrypted connections and secure session cookies. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will give more notice, such as on the site or in our Discord.
